My fathers last words to me were "You're going to crawl back asking for help" HA HA HA... yeah fucking right! I am the most stubborn, hard headed, strong willed individual I know. I don't take shit from anybody, I gave that up when I left home.

I needed money so I started stripping on my 18th birthday at a really cool club in Vegas, called Club Paradise. Yeah, I said stripping! Fuck the term "Exotic Dancer" , I was NOT dancing! I was STRIPPING! Taking off my clothes! Ok, now that I made that clear, on with the story. I made soo much money my first night, I was freaking out!

I couldn't believe it! The suckie thing is that I had to go on stage for the first time in my life and take off my clothes. EEK! I was a nervous fucking wreck! 18 years old, still in highschool, told I was going to hell all my childhood, AND I had on a really ugly blonde wig to cover up my bright red mohawk (I had a strong resemblance to Tank Girl)... Well, like I said, "I had" and ugly blonde wig on, it fell off while I was on stage onto one of the managers foot! The terror, the panic, there I am, standing on stage in front of alot of people, half naked, red mohawk and frozen! Ack. He picked it up and handed my wig back to me. I put it back on my head and when I did, the crowd went wild! I couldn't believe it! Ha haaaaaa, they loved it! I went back to shaking my ass, litterally, I didn't know what else to do up there, so I would just go up there, turn around and start wiggling my butt back and forth, that's it!"

Ibuki doesn't have an official bio. Capcom got VERY lazy with the Street Fighter 3 storyline. They didn't even make official bios for the characters for the most part. Well, Ibuki's Japanese, though, but you probably already know that.
Street Fighter 3 Double Impact: Ibuki entered the SF3 tournament to get the documents on one of Gill's projects, the G File. She either didn't get it or she got it but was too late because the project already started [Conjecture based off in-game storyline]. Doesn't really matter either way...
Street Fighter 3 Third Strike: Ibuki finally gets into a university! She can now finally live like an ordinary girl! Eventually, another student invites her into his club! There, she has tons of fun where she engages in all sorts of physical activities and training! ...then Ibuki realized that that's not very much different from her life as a ninja. Doh! [Ibuki's SF3 Third Strike ending]

Miscellaneous Facts and Notes
Ibuki's father is NOT officially confirmed to be Geki. Geki does not appear in the background of her stage, either. All of the ninjas in her background have names, and Geki is not one of them. The names of those ninjas are:
Enjou - the one that actually looks like ninja
Genda - the small dinky guy that?s bald
Sanjou - the one with the weird cap
Raion - The big guy with beads
Homura Yuuta - the guy (who some mistake for a girl) that Ibuki spars with in one of her intros
Don - The raccoon
That guy that shows up in Ibuki's SFIII 3rd Strike ending isn't her boyfriend. For now, he doesn't have a name given to him. He's just referred to as Ibuki's "senpai". And he's a different guy from the one that shows up in Ibuki's win pose.
The blue-haired girl is Sarai Kurosawa. She's Ibuki's best friend and sparring partner.
Ibuki kinda leads a duel life-style. She's a schoolgirl, but she's also a ninja at the same time. She secretly wishes to live just a normal life, though. And, of course, she gets it in her Third Strike ending. ...well, sorta?

Vanessa's entrance in KOF at the time put a stop to the parade of increasingly younger characters appearing in the game, especially the women characters who were all teenagers for the most part. This is the reason for creating the concept of a thirty-something woman who broke all the rules and overflowed with adult appeal. Her style has become the topic of many humorous comic strips.
In her first appearance in the Dreamcast version of KOF '99 as a Striker character, she was a bit irreverent. And in KOF 2000, she officially entered the tournament as a player character.
Designers wanted to introduce her as a player character in KOF '99, but legend has it that she had to sit it out due to certain time constraints.
